At Alchemy, we strongly believe that business should be a force for good. Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s words “We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in our hands to make a difference”, our team came together this Mandela Day to put those words into action.
On Friday 18 July, our staff and three of our visiting vacation students packed 72 Jars of Hope, each filled with nutritious dry ingredients and enough to feed a family of four.
These were sent to Be The Good, an NGO based in Fraserburg in the Karoo, for distribution to families in need at Nico Bekker Primary School in Williston and Malherbe Human Primary School in Fraserburg. Be The Good works to uplift remote communities through education and social support.
A small gesture, but one that we hope makes a meaningful difference.
